BES – Project Manager
Kristin Kent graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, Hons., specializing in biophysical systems. Upon graduation, Kristin began her career with an environmental remediation contractor – estimating and coordinating projects, as well as overseeing the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) mobile Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) reporting. She has over 13 years of experience in environmental contracting – the large majority of it in a fulltime project management role using her organizational skills and ability to understand client’s needs to execute successful projects. She has managed a broad range of projects including UST/AST removals, demolition, waste management, ex situ bioremediation, storm water management (SWM) pond sediment removal and site restoration. Some of the more complex site remediation projects have included temporary shoring, abatement, underpinning and groundwater treatment/management. In addition, Ms. Kent has completed projects with various clients and stakeholders from both the public and private sectors including municipal, provincial and federal government, environmental consultants, developers, insurance companies and private industry stakeholders. Her project management responsibilities are comprehensive from estimating, project scheduling, development and submittal of all project deliverables through to invoicing.
